Leadership Self-Assessment

This is a self-assessment for leaders in the project ecosystem: team managers, project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, and other managers or non-manager leaders in the ecosystem.

This assessment is based on the Leader’s Behavior Compass, but it doesn’t mean that the candidate needs to be familiar with the Compass. Anyone can use it to evaluate their leadership capabilities.

Assessing yourself

The assessment is privacy-friendly and non-commercial, and you can take it as many times as you want. The full assessment has 67 questions, usually needs 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and gives you the most reliable results. The mini assessment has 20 questions and needs about 30 minutes to complete:

Assessing someone else

As a trainer or coach, you can initiate the self-assessment for others. For example, you can ask your participants to do it a few days before coming to your course or workshop. The results show you what to emphasize more in your course and how to make it more useful for your audience. It can be helpful for OMIMO courses as well as other courses related to the project ecosystem.

When people take the assessment that you’ve initiated, you will see an aggregate summary of all their assessments. They will have access to see everyone else’s summary result as well.

Each of the two above links opens a new invitation page that contains a unique link for assessments. You can copy the link from that page and send it to people, or show the QR code on that page to them, so that they can scan it. People who follow that link to take the assessment will be considered part of the group you’re coaching.

On the bottom of the invitation page, there’s also a link to its coaching report. When you click on that, you’ll see the aggregate result of everyone who has taken the assessment, along with links to their individual summary reports. Those who take the assessment will also have the link to the coaching report on the bottom of their individual reports.
