Where we come from

In this section, we’ll look at why and how P3.express was created and how it gradually evolved into a family of related modules under the name OMIMO.

Where we are now

This part is about the current state of the OMIMO family and its community of members. There’s also some good news, which we’ll announce here for the first time!

The road ahead

In this part, we’ll introduce the modules we may have for the future, including those that are rough, uncertain ideas.

Then there will be two options for the next 30 minutes, and participants can decide which one to join:

1. Modules workshop: Participants in this workshop will work in small, facilitated groups to generate ideas for future modules. This is mainly aimed at contributors and active members of the community, but it’s open to everyone to join.
2. Libre pitches: Others can spend this time slot watching three short presentations on software tools that can be useful for managing projects. Each 10-minute presentation will be given by the creators of the software. All these software solutions are libre (free and open source):
   • OpenProject
   • NextCloud
   • XWiki

The summary results of the brainstorming workshops will be made publicly available after the event. The recorded videos of the pitches will be made available to everyone as well.

Open forum

Anyone can submit questions before or during the event. Questions will be organized and prioritized, and we’ll try to answer as many of them as possible in this section.

All questions will be made public, and we’ll answer the remaining questions a few days later.

Networking

In this part, participants will be randomly paired with each other for a few rounds of 3-minute networking to expand their network and find interesting new people.
